Admissions Intake Coordinator Due to continued growth, CommuniCare Health Services is recruiting for the position of Admissions Intake Coordinator for our Linthicum Heights, MD Regional Office.
This is a call center/ referral manager position.
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for leading the process of intake and financial verification for skilled nursing homes admissions.
He/she must have excellent computer and accurate data entry skills and healthcare experience.
The position works closely with the center's admissions team and the Managed Care Organization to ensure that all necessary paperwork and authorization numbers are obtained prior to admission and that all pertinent paperwork is sent to the center to facilitate a smooth admission.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be customer service oriented.
The position requires the ability to multi-task and to work in a fast-paced environment.
Prior admissions or business office experience in a Long Term Care environment required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
