Administrative Assistant

Job Description:
Perform clerical and administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy and any combination of the following tasks:
Process daily sales tickets, bank deposit; process special handling in billing for customers; data entry; perform as backup for selecting shippers, voice-mail, and customer contacts.
Composes and types letters/quotations using computer word processing.
Perform general duties as required.
Provide administrative support to Facility Manager.
Process special handling in billing for customers.
Type correspondence using computer.
Perform filing, copying and data entry as required.
Answer telephone and gives information to callers or routes calls to appropriate person.
Other duties or projects as assigned OTHER DUTIES AS REQUIRED:

QualificationsQualifications MINIMUM Qualifications:
High School Graduate.
Excellent communication skills Computer experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel Ability to accurately use calculator.
Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
Frequent bending.
Prolonged standing or sitting.
Frequent finger manipulation required for typing, computer and/or calculator.
Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
If internal, must not have any written disciplinary actions within previous ninety days.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
