Duties and
Responsibilities:
Deliver foreign language training using Government- or Contractor-provided documentation, including assessment plans, instructor guides and student materials;
Tailor approaches in accordance with student learning styles and strategies;
Work as part of a teaching team, as required;
Interact with course developers, curriculum managers, Government instructors, and Contractor instructors to assist with design and implementation of training;
Use basic classroom technology to include audio/video/DVD components, and computer applications, such as Microsoft Office;
Provide constructive feedback on student progress to the Government. All learning assessments correlate with or directly support unit/topic/course objectives;
Deliver instruction via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities;
Ensure all course delivery meets standards in ADET Instruction I-04;
Teach ISO-Immersions;
Use classroom technology such as SmartBoard/Symposium and Blackboard; and
Supplement instruction with contemporary authentic material;
Develop and deliver foreign language courses in accordance with ADET Instruction I-04;
Deliver Area Studies content in the foreign language and English as required;
Deliver language-related courses (ex. passage rating, translation grading, language assessment and language identification) as required;
Develop and deliver Area Studies content in the foreign language;
Use courseware development technology such as Sound Forge;
Research, identify and provide appropriate contemporary authentic material from various modes of communication to supplement instruction;
Use blended delivery modes such as face-to-face, online, distance, asynchronous eLearning technology and self-paced instruction;
Conduct content review based on student evaluations andprovide recommendations for training material revisions;
Conduct periodic course content review and provide recommendations for training material revisions;
Provide in-depth explanation of language grammar and structure as evidenced in all modes (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) of the language (both formal and informal); and
Develop students' skills in transcription and translation as required;
EDUCATION &
Experience:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and ten to twelve years of related experience.
Required
Qualifications:
Master's degree from any accredited college or university.
For teaching languages other than English: Speaker with native capability in reading, listening and speaking in the standard form of the language to be taught and a minimum ILR proficiency level 2 in reading, writing, speaking and listening in English OR a speak with native capability in English and a minimum ILR proficiency level 3 in reading and listening in the standard form of the language to be taught. Skill levels must be documented within the last 3 years.
Ten (10) years experience teaching adult language education and methodology, to include:
Six (6) of the ten (10) years experience shall include:
Teaching language courses from basic through advanced level, with a focus on translation, grammar, listening, and reading comprehension, speaking and writing. Two
Identifying and using authentic materials to support objectives;
Assessing student performance;
Four (4) of the ten (10) years shall include:
Experience with ISD;
Developing and teaching using blended learning
In lieu of the Master's Degree, a Bachelor's Degree and an additional two (2) years of directly related work experience teaching and/or developing language training for adults maybe substituted; and
Six (6) months experience using appropriate language fonts, keyboards, and language training software.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
