Engineer Systems 3

We are looking for a Systems Engineer 3 who will perform Systems Engineering tasks with respect to the architecture, requirements, and design in support of Mission and Model-Based Engineering (MMBE) to develop systems or in support of modeling, simulation and analysis activities for those systems. The anticipated high level Systems Engineering activities are the performance of technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complete systems.
The ideal candidate will help develop solutions for various small and large scale systems: System concept development; Elicitation and specification of functional requirements, and decomposition and traceability of those requirements; Performance analysis and specification; Architecture Trade Studies; Synthesize and extend architectures, and allocate functionality to components; Definition of interfaces, with occasional data modeling; Detailed Design Analysis and Test. Candidate will leverage model-based systems engineering approaches using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or other related degree) with 5 years of related professional experience, 3 years of professional experience with a Master's degree or Ph.D with at least 1 year of professional experience.
General understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field.
Ability to recognize and solve problems and recommend solutions to technical problems.
General understanding of Systems and Software Requirements.
General understanding of Architecture, Interface Definition, and Design.
Ability to collaborate on the creation, development, and presentation of technical briefings.
Able to obtain and maintain at minimum DoD SECRET security clearance.
Good written and oral communications skills including attention to detail.
Ability to design or integrate software components.
Preferred Qualifications:
Up to 6 years experience in systems or software design and development.
Experience of Modular Open Systems Architectures (MOSA)
Specific knowledge of Model Driven Architecture (MDA) / Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Experience in Unified Modeling Language (UML), and Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
Knowledge in mathematical modeling and object-oriented software design methodologies and programming.
Knowledge of real-time target environments, including processor and network architectures, communication protocols, simulation frameworks and electrical interfaces.
Experience with requirements elicitation, specification, and management.
Knowledge on DOORs or other requirements management tools.
Knowledge of Hardware Systems, Software Systems or Computing Infrastructures.
General knowledge of general and real-time software development and testing tools, capability and usage. Real-time tool examples include cross compliers, target debuggers and test/performance instrumentation.
Knowledge of layered system architectures in a distributed computing environment.
Specific knowledge on any UML or SysML modeling tool and knowledge of DODAF views.
Knowledge of open architecture and System of Systems (SoS).
General understanding of system architectures in Real-Time systems.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
