Your responsibilities in this role:
Adjudicating claims using standard principles and state specific policies and regulations Identifying errors in the coding and billing process, abuse and fraudulent billing practices, waste and provider overpayments Answering provider questions regarding reimbursement Meeting department quality and productivity metrics Qualifications that we're looking for:
At least 1 year of healthcare experience required preferably with a health insurance organization High School diploma required Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills Strong technical skills including proficiency with MS Office Strong knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
